I’m an engineer, CTO, and technology leader with almost 20 years of experience building and scaling integrated hardware–software products – from early prototypes to mass-manufactured products and platforms deployed in the field.
Naturally curious, I am drawn to challenging problems and complex systems, turning ideas into reliable, scalable, data-driven solutions. My hands-on experience spans electronics and PCB design, embedded systems, sensors, wireless, cloud platforms, data pipelines, full-stack software, algorithms, and machine learning.
As a founder and technology leader, I’ve built and led high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams, driven product roadmaps from idea to market, and overseen manufacturing, supply chains, compliance, and certifications, primarily in Southeast Asia – ensuring technology, product, and business move in lockstep.

Career Journey
After studying Electronics Engineering at Università di Pisa (Italy), I started in semiconductor research at NXP Semiconductors (High Tech Campus, Eindhoven, The Netherlands) and spent four years at Imagination Technologies designing GPU IP cores that shipped in billions of devices from Apple, Samsung, Intel and others.
In 2013 I co-founded Vinaya Technologies, a pioneering wearables company. As the only technical co-founder, I built the first prototypes, then scaled the team and brought various hardware and software products to market with full in-house development and manufacturing in Asia.
After a stint as CTO in Residence at Startupbootcamp IoT London, I co-founded Mothive (agricultural IoT), which became Terraprima Group in 2019. In 2024, Terraprima was acquired and rebranded as Ladybird IoT, where I’m now CTO and Technical Director at the parent company Mountain IoT Group/Forest Rock.
On the side, I advise startups through Seroware and run Techntone, a boutique guitar pedals company.
